Transportation is
responsible for the overall management and control of vehicular and
pedestrian traffic within the City. The Operations section focuses on pavement marking;
signal maintenance and construction; the fabrication, installation and
repair of traffic signs; and the maintenance of freeway lighting
throughout the City. The Engineering section is charged with traffic
studies; design of traffic related improvements; downtown parking
enforcement; and the school crossing guard program. |
