Harrington, the City of Beaumont, and the Texas Highway system, this lot was brought to a
whole new level.
- Delia Harrington was a citizen of Downtown Beaumont who dedicated her time to keeping our
city beautiful. She lived across the street from where the park is today, and she constantly picked
up litter from around the IH-10 Downtown Beaumont Exit even into her 70's and 80's.
- Welcome to Beaumont - Delia Harrington Park was dedicated to her to honor her selfless
attitude in keeping Beaumont clean. Delia attended the dedication but has since passed away. We
remember her legacy and inspiration to the beautification of Beaumont.

this park can be!
