Event Facilities includes the Beaumont Civic Center and meeting rooms, the Julie Rogers Theatre for the Performing Arts, the Jefferson Theatre, Harvest Club, Riverfront Park, Central Park Community Center, Alice Keith Community Center, Sprott Community Center, and Rogers Community Center.

Thru the Event Facilities Division we have available for rent City venues of different sizes to meet the needs of your various events such as meetings/seminars, luncheons/banquets, dances, graduations, religious programs, dance recitals, birthday parties and many other functions.  For rental information, contact information and detailed descriptions of all event facilities, please click on Event Facilities below.

 The libraries include the Beaumont Public Library, the R. C. Miller Memorial Branch Library, the Theodore Johns Branch Library, the Elmo Willard Branch Library, the Literacy Depot, and the Tyrrell Historical Library.

 The library system makes available educational, cultural, and recreational resources including books, periodicals, reference services, framed prints, books on tape and CD, video tapes, compact discs, DVDs, and other materials.   You can have access to EPIXTECH at http://beaumont.ipac.dynixasp.com.  Various programs that are offered by the libraries include a literacy program for adults, special exhibits, programs in celebration of such observances as Black History Month, and a Summer Reading Program for children.   The Tyrrell Historical Library is a research library and archive for genealogy and for Texas history, particularly Southeast Texas.   The adult literacy program is affiliated with Pro-Literacy of America.   It provides one-on-one tutoring using volunteers, as well as offering English as a second language and family literacy programs, classes and GED preparation.

Public internet access is also available at all libraries.
