Animal Services Connects Abandoned Dog with Rescue Group

With a little detective work
and a lot of compassion, the Beaumont Animal Services Division recently was able to return a lost dog to the California rescue operation he now calls home. Jackson, a Weimaraner/pit bull mix, recently was found wandering near a local hotel. Because he had a microchip, Animal Services officers were able to track him back to a Southern California organization that matches dogs with long-distance truckers for companionship. Animal Services provided Jackson with a new collar, name tag and leash, and the PetCo in Beaumont donated a grooming session for the trip back to California. For Jackson’s full story, click HERE.
