Planting

The Chamber of Commerce’s Beautification Committee is implementing a wild-flower planting project at gateway locations along the interstate highway.  The first phase of the project is being implemented in the fall of 2009.  For more information on how to get involved and/or donate, please contact Ted Moore III at (409) 721-6400 ext 4411.

Beautify Beaumont Inc. is seeking donations for a planting project at Phelan and Kennedy and will hold a tree giveaway on Arbor Day, 2010. For more information, please see:  beautifybeaumont.org 

The Oaks Historic District is also committed to keeping its neighborhood clean and beautiful.  Partnering with the Magnolia Garden Club, beautification plantings have been done and more are planned.  For more information, please click oakshistoricdistrict.org

 

Clean Ups      

Upcoming Clean Ups: Clean-ups are scheduled at various times.  For more information on an up-coming clean-up in your ward, check back with this Web site or call the City’s Executive Office at 880-3716.                                       

The best place to beautify Beaumont is to start in your neighborhood.  To see if your neighborhood association has an upcoming clean-up or if you’re ready to get things started, contact the City of Beaumont Executive Office at 880-3716.
