ABOUT USHistory of Beaumont EMSCity leaders established Beaumont EMS in 1982 after determing that the citizens of our community were in need of quality, dependable, and consistent pre-hospital medical care. Reliability of personnel and response times were major factors that contributed to the development of Beaumont EMS as a third-city service. We began with two MICU ambulances and currently operate six full-time Med Units. We also staff two supervisory Advanced Life Support (ALS) vehicles and have the capability of responding two additional ALS support vehicles during peak times on weekdays. BEMS functions as a division of the Beaumont Public Health Department and the sole 911 provider for the City. Our primary response is 911, averaging approximately 18,000 requests for service annually. Top of PageOperationsSchedule
