Operations Center Employee of the Year for 2008

Lynne
Kadilis
911 Operations Center Employee of the Year for 2008
The 911 Operations
Centers’ Employee of the Month / Employee of the Year
program is designed to honor our employee’s achievements of
character, performance and teamwork. The program also
recognizes those employees who have attained special
personal or project goals, displayed heroism or in any other
way provided outstanding service to the citizens of the City
of Beaumont. All employees are involved in the nomination
process and the selection committee is comprised of two
members voted on by all of the employees plus the prior six
monthly winners.
911 Dispatcher Lynne
Kadilis was selected as the Employee of the Month for
October 2008. Lynne has worked for the City of Beaumont for
a total of 5 years. She is a working mother of 3 children
and a proud new grandmother.
During the month of
October, Lynne did an excellent job on a call from a lady
and her daughter who were being held against their will by
the daughter’s father. Lynne had to do some quick thinking
to interpret the conversation because the man was listening
and the lady could not speak plainly about what was going
on. When Police arrived and ascertained the details of the
situation the suspect was arrested and transported to jail.
The mother and daughter were not harmed.
We would like to commend
Lynne for her patience and quick thinking on the call which
led to a successful outcome of a potentially dangerous
situation.
Because of her actions,
Lynne Kadilis is our 911 Operations Center Employee of the
Year for 2008.
